neotract® UroLift® SYSTEM

CMX Research Inc. is very excited to announce the launch of the UroLift® SYSTEM. The study is to evaluate an investigational treatment for BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia) for enlarged prostate. The UroLift® system is a minimally invasive device designed to lift or hold enlarged prostate tissue out of the way so it no longer blocks the urethra. The study is being conducted in Canada (exclusive to CMX Research Inc), USA and Australia.

Ferring Pharmaceuticals Phase IV DELAY Study

CMX Research Inc. has started the FERRING prospective, observational, Phase IV DELAY Study. This study involves Hormone Sensitive Prostate Cancer Patients Switched to DEGARELIX THERAPY (DELAY) After Failing on GnRH Agonists. The enrollment goal is 75 patients across 15 CMX sites in 6 months. We are progressing well in patient enrollment.

Abbott Laboratories Limited – CRONOS Study

CMX Research Inc. is working with Abbott Laboratories Ltd on the CRONOS Study - Canadian Real-life Evaluation of Lupron in the Management of Prostate Cancer. 50 sites across Canada are participating with an enrollment goal of 550 patients. All patients with PCa treated at the participating sites may be eligible to be included in the study. The first patient was enrolled in June 2011.

AstraZeneca BHOS – Bone Health Observational Study

CMX Research Inc. has successfully reached its goal of 600 patients enrolled in the BHOS Study. We thank our 52 Investigator Sites for their hard work and outstanding performance in reaching our goal ahead of time.

The BHOS Study tracks the bone health of individuals who have prostate cancer and are taking Zoladex® over a 5 year period. An electronic data capture (EDC) system has been specifically designed for this study and has proven to be a sophisticated method for data capture. We wish continued success for the completion of this study.

Sanofi-Aventis ELIGARD® Observational Registry

CMX Research Inc. is proud to announce that the patient recruitment goal has been reached at 300 patients for the Eligard® Study. This registry tracks patients over a 3 year period who are taking Eligard® for treatment of prostate cancer. An online database has been designed for efficient means of data capture for all investigational sites. Thank You to all the sites for your proficient work.
